“When we first came up with the idea for mr. wolf, we thought of a tiny hole in the wall pumping out margherita pizza – basically because that’s what we wanted to eat on our days off. Somehow, when mr. wolf opened in 2004, we ended up with a restaurant, a bar, two private dining rooms and a large kitchen that’s busy for lunch and two sittings at dinner.”

We are a friendly, bustling restaurant serving Karen Martini’s take on classic Roman-style pizza, along with pasta, antipasti, salumi, slow braises… mr. wolf is family friendly and opens at 5pm to make feeding the little ones a little more convenient. But mr. wolf also sticks around till late for dinner or just drinks next door in little wolf. We also have two private spaces for dinner or stand-up events, and can cater for larger tables.

Coeliacs from far and wide have assured me that this pizza dough is as good as regular pizza dough. At Mr Wolf, the guests of coeliacs run with this dough too, as they love the chewiness and the way the base supports its toppings.
